Biking for Bach is a community bike tour that links the six towns of our valley with the six solo violin works of J.S. Bach. This road ride will feature brief performances by violinist Carrie Krause in parks and coffee shops along the way. Day 1 has was on May 22 (Churchill, Manhattan, and Three Forks).
Day 2 is on Sunday June 6 and riders will visit Gallatin Gateway, Bozeman, and Belgrade.
The ride begins both days at 11 am, with suggested route and schedule, as well as a lunch stop at the middle town. This is an unsupported tour; riders are responsible for shuttle arrangements. Registration
This event is part of Bach Roads of Montana, a month-long celebration of Bach through community, history, and place in partnership with Gallatin Valley Land Trust, Gallatin Valley Bicycle Club, Old Main Gallery & Framing, musicians of all abilities, and historic churches across the region.
