High Places

Violinist Carrie Krause and dancer Genevieve Trygstad-Burke return to the peaks with music and movement in summer 2025.

This summer includes peaks with water en route, for the visual and acoustic gifts of these natural settings. Music will include a world premiere of a piece written specifically for these excursions, by Bozeman-raised, young composer Athena Carson.

Yoga instructor and dancer Nico Hurley will lead mountain-top mindfulness practice and meditations for those who wish to further take in the elements through awareness of place and mind.

Hike at your own pace, and meet us at the top; assume your own risk and responsibility. Unavoidable changes/cancellations are possible.

Excursions June 1 through Aug 28. Besides the events below, there are additional dates June 1, July 16 and August 28th for a smaller group. Please contact us for those details: info@baroquemusicmontana.org

Saddle Peak performance captured by director and cinematographer Michael Paul Jones, 2023

Two people stand in a mountain lake: one plays a violin, and the other dances. Snow-dusted peaks and rocky terrain surround them under a cloudy sky.
