A 17th century Maggot was a modern day earworm – a fabulous, popular tune that goes round and round in one’s head. We couldn’t resist designing a light-hearted program of English tunes around this theme, for the third chapter of the duo Sonata Tramontana. Works include Schop’s Lachramae, Playford’s Divisions, and sonatas and suites by Michael Finger, Richard Jones, and Nicola Matteis among others. BaMM stalwart musicians Carrie & John – the duo of Sonata Tramontana – embark upon new territory of Northwest Montana, with debut concerts in Kalispell, Big Fork, Seeley Lake, and Townsend.
