Artists from Bozeman and our surrounding communities have been live-streaming from their shelter spaces on Bozeman Arts —Live!, with a capital campaign simultaneous with each broadcast going to the artist. BaMM’s own Carrie Krause was recently featured on April 30, 2020, and past broadcasts, including hers, are available to view on the site.
Carrie’s beautiful performance on baroque violin, in Holy Rosary Church, began with Biber’s Passacaglia, the capping movement of his incredible 15 Rosary Sonatas symbolizing the ever-present guardian angel, followed by J.S. Bach’s desert island go-to, Partita in E major, and finishing with several virtuosic tunes by French composer by L.G. Guillemain, from his collection of ‘Amusements’ (1762).
