Chelsea Lyons

Mezzo-soprano Chelsea Lyons, whose voice has been described as “ample, velvety” and “gleaming,” enjoys a dynamic career of solo, choral, and chamber ensemble singing. Her soloist credits include appearances with Music of the Baroque, Madison Bach Musicians, Pacific Chorale/Musica Angelica, and Spektral Quartet. Chelsea’s ensemble memberships include Chicago a cappella, Music of the Baroque, the Grant Park Chorus, and Stare at the Sun. She is also a member of the four-time Grammy-winning choir, The Crossing. As an arts administrator, Chelsea supports the choral and new-music programs at Northwestern University’s Bienen School of Music and is Director of Operations for Stare at the Sun. Chelsea is an alumna of Northwestern University (MM’17) and California State University, Fullerton (’13).
