BaMM participated in a celebration of long-time Bozeman arts benefactors Drs. Dennis & Anne Wentz. Held at the Ellen Theater on September 28, BaMM was joined by the arts organizations who have benefited greatly from the vision and generosity of the Wentzes. The show was kicked off by BaMM’s Carrie Krause and Montana Chamber Music’s Angella Ahn playing the Allegro movement from Bach’s Concerto for two violins in D minor, accompanied by pianist Julie Goswiller. Along with BaMM and Montana Chamber Music, tributes were also paid by the Raison D’être Dance Project, Bozeman Symphony, Opera Montana, Verge Theatre, Montana Ballet Company, Montana Shakespeare in the Parks, and Bozeman Actors Theatre. At the conclusion of the performances, longtime music educator Renee Westlake presented Bozeman’s first Heart of the Arts award to the Wentzes. It was an unforgettable evening of Bozeman’s abundance of excellence in the arts and a memorable thank you to this invaluable and impressive couple, who were coincidentally celebrating their 47th wedding anniversary that very night!
