Event Details

Biking for Bach is a community bike tour held the weekend of May 22-23 that links the six towns of our valley with the six solo violin works of J.S. Bach. Join us for any or all parts of this road ride, with brief performances by violinist Carrie Krause in parks and coffee shops along the way.

Towns visited on Day 1 are Churchill, Manhattan, and Three Forks.  (Towns visited on Day 2 are Gallatin Gateway, Bozeman, and Belgrade.)

The ride begins both days at 11 am, with suggested route and schedule, as well as a lunch stop at the middle town. This is an unsupported tour; riders are responsible for shuttle arrangements. Rain reschedule date June 5 (for Day 1) and June 6 (for Day 2).

This event is part of Bach Roads of Montana, a month-long celebration of Bach through community, history, and place in partnership with Downtown Bozeman, Gallatin Valley Land Trust, Gallatin Valley Bicycle Club, Old Main Gallery & Framing, musicians of all abilities, and historic churches across the region. Tech T-shirts will be available for purchase.
