Kicking off our fourth season, we couldn’t be more thrilled to present this program of crafted orchestral bounty, tracing Salzburg roots in the baroque through Papa Haydn straight through to rambunctious Mozart. We partner with our public school’s music master Mike Certalic and Bozeman’s excellent high school Kamarta orchestra in opening this program, and include some outstanding students in our professional band for the concert’s second half. Join us for one of the first public events in the spacious new Gallatin High Auditorium, with excellent air systems and stellar chamber acoustic. Mozart Symphony No. 25, virtually the theme music of the movie Amadeus, tops the program with 4 raucous horns, the first bassoon solo written into a symphony, a pair of oboes, and stellar strings.
Through Bozeman Arts Live, this program will be live-streamed and available for view following the performance for patrons who prefer to view from home. Watch live stream here.
This concert is generously supported by Connie Cranston.
